One of the problem I found with the Macintosh Garden or the Macintosh Repository (where you most likely found your "corrupted" software) is that they encoded the files with recent versions of StuffIt and earlier versions, more likely to be on your old computer, cannot unstuff them. If you do have any of the above-mentioned software on your computer, then let us know which one(s) and which version numbers, and I could compress the proper file for your version and send it over to you with my FTP server or my Apache server (since you have a browser installed already).
